PISTACHIO

 

Pistachio nuts have high amounts of minerals like other nuts do. However they contain more potassium and magnesium per ounce than any other nut and are therefore very important for the heart and blood vessels as these two minerals help to lower blood pressure. Pistachio help to decrease LDL ( bad cholesterol ) and raise the HDL (good cholesterol ); They are also high in protein and fibre and make a great snack.
